I recently enjoyed lunch at Cheesecake Factory menu 2019 behind the Quakerbridge Mall in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with my spouse. I’ll need to say, I was disappointed with the appearance of the restaurant, but pleased about the food, service and pricing. It’s not a bad place for couples to enjoy a good meal for $30, but there are some glaring issues that might be turn offs for some other clients.
Let’s begin with the positives. The service was great! We had been seated immediately, and waited will no longer than five minutes before our waitress took our drink order. She was one of the better waitresses We have ever encountered, just about the most patient, probably the most professional. It absolutely was clear that she cares about her customers’ needs. We realized that our napkins were dirty, had crumbs to them, and our table had crumbs onto it. My wife’s bread plate had crumbs onto it. Okay, that’s a negative, but it fits the discussion. The waitress apologized, immediately took away our dirty plates and napkins and replaced them with clean ones.
I ordered the Factory Burger, which is actually a hamburger, engrossed in cheddar cheese, served on the wheat loaf topped with sliced almonds. Very interesting! I actually have never eaten a hamburger on a wheat loaf. It was an excellent burger, perhaps a tad too much pepper, however it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just the way I requested. The meal was included with a tiny, tin canister of shoestring french-fried potatoes, that were crispy and delicious!
My spouse ordered the Skinnylicious Chicken Pasta, which is made with Gemelli Pasta sauteed chicken breasts, fresh basil and fresh tomatoes. Warning for all customers! The chefs in the Cheesecake Factory LOVE pepper! My spouse sent her food back since it was too spicy. The waitress was so patient and kind about using the dish back and replacing it with a brand new one without any pepper. We can’t fault the chefs for your one! They will serve it to you personally without pepper should you request it that way. My wife never specified no pepper. Okay, that one was on us! So, should you order the Skinnylicious Chicken Pasta, and you also usually are not keen on spicy food, make sure to specifically ask for no pepper.
By the way, the price of that meal was only over $30. That was very reasonable! I had been a little confused regarding who exactly was serving us. Our waitress took our order and checked on us frequently, but another person brought our food to us. In reality, another unknown person presented my wife’s replacement dish. The number of people need to be involved for 2 customers? We had been speaking with a waiter and didn’t know his name. I assume I really could have asked, having said that i am keen on the wait staff wearing name tags. None of them inside the restaurant were wearing name tags. I simply think it adds an individual touch for that customer.
I mentioned this earlier, but the table had crumbs on it, and our napkins had crumbs to them. Additionally, the floor across the restaurant was filthy, the silverware had spots onto it, the wait staff was dressed up in all white (uggh) and also the greeters were dressed up in all black (uggh).
The greatest issue was the menu. It’s too complicated! Pages and pages of products, wines, specials, etc. The waitress even commented on the menu’s girth. My wife has eaten in the Cheesecake Factory before, so she features a favorite item jpnvlz the menu, which she ordered in the interests of time. I felt like I used to be reading a novel as opposed to a menu! I felt rushed just as if I had to simply hurry up and pick something. We have without doubt that everything on the menu is tasty, but also for those in a rush, it could be an issue.
Okay, to sum it up, the food at Cheesecake Factory restaurant was delicious, the service was great, the pricing was reasonable, but the menu was too big as well as the appearance was sloppy and unkempt.
I am just not a fan of taking a look at or wearing someone else’s leftovers. Which was a massive shut off for me! That left a bad first impression to me! It’s not something that even great food or great service can overcome, in my view. I will not rush to The Cheesecake Factory at that particular location. I might eat there if I am in that area, however i will never go out of my approach to eat there in the future.
